Manni Green Tech at Fuorisalone 2019 with “Human Proportions” | APR 8-19 | University of Milan
“A path that modifies and amplifies space, interpreting its depth, dynamism and architectural proportions in relation to the human figure”.
Fuorisalone returns in the iconic locations of Milan with over 1200 events and 20 itineraries. The event dedicated to the world of design has witnessed an exponential growth in terms of visitors and brands over the years, which has made it one of the most awaited happenings in the design cosmo.
Main event of the entire Fuorisalone panorama is the exhibition organized by Interni magazine, now at its 21st edition, which returns in the stunning courtyards of the Università degli Studi di Milano to addresses the theme: “Human Spaces”. In fact, Interni challenged architects and designers to translate the concept of ‘human space‘ into experimental installations, from the micro (furniture that surrounds us) to the macro dimensions: urban mobility, from the natural environment production systems, such as the virtuous one – and now necessary – the circular economy.
Manni Group is glad to take part in this event through the newborn company of the Group: Manni Green Tech, specialized in modular building, has collaborated in the engineering process of the “Human Proportions” installation, a project by architect Massimo Iosa Ghini placed in the courtyard of the Università degli Studi di Milano. The Manni Green Tech team provided the technology for the production of the self-supporting structure composed of light steel profiles that identifies the construction frame.
The concept behind “Human Proportions”
The installation creates an initial not finished effect, connected to time, distance and the desire to reach what seems to be unreachable. It ends with the awareness of the idea of inverse geometric proportion with respect to the starting point.
